Unique vintage diamond design Mexican Falsa blankets. Each are individually made by loom weaving with vibrant colors making no two blankets alike.
The Falsa Mexican Blanket or Molina Indian Blanket has a rich history in Mexican and Southwestern US history. Originally made as horse saddle blankets, these lightweight and colorful throws became a favorite of tourists visiting the south during WW1 and WW2.
These falsa blankets are handwoven and made of recycled material with a blend of a 50% acrylic, 40% polyester and 10% cotton that are lightweight and machine washable. Versatile for prayer shawls, exercise mats, beach blanket, camping, picnics, throw or blanket and beautiful to look at. Measures Approximately 79" x 50" inches.
